Our Hon Vice President – Roy Briscoe
I first became involved with EDMHSS in 1979. At that time I became a volunteer driver and my late wife became a volunteer at a Sunday afternoon drop in centre. Services were much more limited than they are today and the number of clients was far less.
I have been actively involved with the charity throughout the years and have assisted at various fund raising events and group activities. My wife was an active volunteer until her sudden death in 2001. Since that time I have seen the charity make so much progress that has made it become the successful organisation that it is today.
I was proud to be invited to become Honorary Vice President and I am still actively interested in its activities.
